The Ultragauge is another good tool but the refresh rate and accuracy just does not seem right when compared to having the scangauge plugged in. Using these four sensors readings matched against what the engine is doing is enough to point you in the general direction of any faults that may appear. Personally my one is set up to monitor FPr (Fuel rail pressure), MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure), Ai (Air intake temp, taken from MAF sensor) and CHT (Cylinder Head Temp). But for the ease of use and a standard fit and forget it offers live data of the engine sensors with a good refresh rate for accurate measuring of the live data. Yes it is a bit square and unsightly and they could add another sensor or two, G/S Mass air flow for instance, hint, hint. IMHO The scangauge is the monitoring tool that all Puma owners should fit.
